The Spiritual Brain: A strong case against materialists

Hey guys what is up welcome back to my blog I’m so thankful that you guys took the time out of your day to read my blog post. Hope you all are safe from the COVID-19 and having a great day. I absolutely love anything about the brain and also spirituality and this book combines the two so of course I’d give it a read. Let’s get into The Spiritual Brain.

The human mind is such an interesting thing. I love reading about psychology and things like that but most of the books on the ‘mind’ actually focus on the ‘brain’. While I do believe that the brain is important, the mind is important as well and that is proven well in this book by giving us an account of how materialist scientists try to disprove the ‘mind’ by talking more about the brain.

The book focuses more on accounts and research from around the world which focuses on disproving many different things like mystical experiences, God and even the mind itself. While I have always, always laughed at such theories, I loved the way this book teaches us about the theory in detail and then completely smashes it with the help of logic and newer studies combined with simple basic common sense. The book aims to show us that while the materialist scientists are indeed doing great by studying the brain but by denying the mind they are harming their potential.

The theory that I found the most ridiculous that the book discussed was the ‘God Particle’ theory which is basically saying that due to our genetics, we have a certain God particle inside our brains which makes us believe in a higher power, almost like a on and off switch. While the theory is widely popular among atheists the truth about the theory is that it’s ridiculed even in the scientific community. The same theory also states that people have a ‘fat gene’ or a ‘gay gene inside them, now I want you to think very carefully about this, do you believe that a gene could cause those things ? That being fat is genetic and can’t be changed ? Or that being gay is genetic and it’s nothing more than that ?

The answer has to be no, of course you’re not fat because you have a gene, just run and you’ll lose weight, likewise you’re not skinny because you don’t have a gene, you’re skinny because you don’t eat well. This ridiculous theory about everything being explained by the medium of Gentics or science is actually hurting the world’s potential to be greater than what we currently are. Once we start talking about the mind and the psyche we can see that there’s a whole new world that we haven’t explored, that there’s something so complex in the world that we can’t understand it and the materialistic scientists, scared that their claims of ‘Science is absolute’ and ‘God is dead’ will be proved false choose to simply ignore this.

The book speaks about a lot of theories, and once you’re through it, you’ll have learned a lot about psychology and just how ridiculous the world of science is. I won’t go into much detail because people are touchy but I’m sure that everyone must read the book, for aspiring scientists to know where to aim and for other people to learn more about science and that they should research before beliving something. The talk about how science is dominated by materialists, how the media manipulates us into materialism and a lot more, all make it a book for everyone to read.

So that is it for this post guys hope you got some value from this.  Thank you guys for reading to the end hit me up on Instagram and Twitter with your thoughts and if you have any ideas on what I should write about. Stay safe from the COVID-19. Thank you again and I’ll see you all next week.
