COBRA KAI : THE REDEMPTION OF JOHHNY LAWRENCE

Hey guys what is up welcome back to my blog I’m so thankful that you guys took the time out of your day to read my blog post. Hope you all are safe from the COVID-19. Cobra Kai just got on Netflix and it has been pretty hot for a long time. All the fans from Youtube want a season 3 as do I. I’m going to be talking about the first 2 seasons here which are available on Netflix right now. I will try to keep spoilers at a minimum so let’s get to it.

Cobra Kai is a continuation to the Karate Kid series. It picks up the story of Johnny Lawrence and Daniel La Russo after 34 years. Daniel runs a successful car showroom and is married with 2 kids. His life is great as it should be because he’s the hero. Johnny on the other hand is not doing so well, he’s fixing and setting up TV’s while doing a handful of other menial jobs to pay the bills. Johnny is shown unable to move away from the past and his defeat at the hands of Daniel. An incident gets him involved with his neighbour Miguel. Miguel asks Johnny to teach him Karate and after a little persuasion Johnny agrees to train him giving him all the skills that he learnt. Now here is where the story gets interesting. You’d accept Miguel to turn out to be another jerk like Johnny but he doesn’t instead Miguel is the underdog that Daniel was and turns his life around with Cobra Kai. The fights are cool to watch as are the training sessions which show that Cobra Kai can teach you to be tough but being a jerk depends on the student.

Soon a lot of students start joining Cobra Kai and Daniel seeing that Cobra Kai is up and running and his doing well remembers his past experiences with the Cobra Kai students and tries to shut it down. Here is where we see a complete switch with Johnny using his Karate to grow and help weak and bullied students, Daniel takes a complete 180 from his teenage self and does everything in his power to stop Cobra Kai and be a complete jerk to Johnny and others in his life. Daniel’s character degrades without his Karate or Mr. Miyagi to turn to while Johnny just keeps on growing and climbing. Daniel also take up another student and trains him in the Miyagi Do style. The student is named Robby and is Johnny’s son.

Johnny meanwhile with the guilt of leaving Robby treats Miguel as his own son. He trains up Miguel in the way of Karate that he knows but gives him new values that Johnny himself wasn’t given so that Miguel can turn out better than him. Needless to say Miguel and Robby form a rivalry and then as more people show up to strengthen that rivalry it becomes a whole Miyagi Do VS Cobra Kai all over again only this time with interesting characters and complex relationships and this time the teachers or senseis themselves haven’t dealt with their own major issues. The whole thing gets so intense that the kids can’t even stand each other and get in fights regularly and it all ultimately blows up in their faces at the end of season 2 which has even more awesome fights.

Now for the point that I have been trying to make, Cobra Kai is the story of underdog’s Miguel and Robby turning their lives around with karate. It’s about their complex relationships with their respective girlfriends. It’s about the rivalry between Miyagi Do and Cobra Kai. Most importantly it’s about the inability of Daniel and later Johnny to move on from the past and Johnny redeeming himself for all those years of bullying and suffering that he gave to other kids in his teenage years. He thinks that by helping Miguel he is paying back for his own deeds. His story was a dark one from the start and he was always the bad guy but he realizes in his adulthood that he made mistakes as a teen and he lost to his rival, that doesn’t mean that he has to keep dwelling on it for all his life. He takes up Karate again and turns his life around with it but just as he starts to let go of everything his rivalry with Daniel sparks up again and he again goes into the mode of being a jerk to Daniel. He gets to the top but his old rivalry and his past just don’t let him go. Cobra Kai was a story of Johnny’s redemption. I am excited for Season 3 so if you have any theories DM me and we can chat till then catch up on the other 2. It’s nostalgia for the old generation and motivation for the new generation.

So that is it for this post guys hope you got some value from this.  Thank you guys for reading to the end hit me up on Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn with your thoughts and if you have any ideas which I should write about. B: THE BEGINNING – REVENGE, PROPHECIES AND GENIUS MINDS

Hey guys what is up welcome back to my blog I’m so thankful that you guys took the time out of your day to read my blog post. Hope you all are safe from the COVID-19. I watched B; The beginning on Netflix recently and I admit I may have a hate-love kind of attitude towards it. I do recommend it.

Img source: usa.newonnetflix.info

I had been wanting to watch B since like forever but there was always another series that I had started and so I had to wait. I’ll admit I was disappointed in the first few episodes of the show but I was also impressed. I was expecting a Death Note like show with mind battles and though the show has mind battles (The entire show is an elaborate plan) it wasn’t in the way I expected but when I watched the show I also liked the supernatural elements and the mystery that needs solving. The main characters of the show are Keith Flick – genius detective who is back in archipelagic nation of Cremona to solve the case of Serial killer B. He is extremely cunning and can read through people’s plans in mere seconds. Next is Koku – A boy who wields supernatural powers which he uses to find someone he lost long ago. His only motivations are the memories of the one he lost. Third is Lily – A cheery investigator with RIS who works with Keith and the rest of RIS to find the identity of Killer B. She is extremely perceptive just like Keith and is at one point considered equal to him. The characters are so interesting with all of them having their own backstories which we don’t know.

The first 6 episodes seem like a mess with the viewers having no context but it’s all a carefully crafted plan. Episode 6 and 7 give you all the context you need and then the plot moves forward. I personally think this was a great idea because if we were to see the events of the show in chronological order it won’t have been as interesting as it was. My advice is that keep watching intently and keep pressing the next episode. It will be worth it I promise.

The theme of God and Prophecies play an important part in the story as the supernatural humans we see in the show were made as part of an experiment aimed to recreate God from a prophecy that some people discover and the non-humans believing themselves to be indestructible and that no one but a specific person can hurt them. This shows arrogance in the villains of the show but some are smarter than others and don’t put too much faith in their invincibility. The experiment to recreate God is also deemed a failure showing that no matter what Humans do recreating God in impossible and that it’s something that shouldn’t even be toyed with. The prophecy on the other hand is shown to be nothing but history and that with enough resolute the winds of Fate can be turned just as Koku did. Refusing to believe the prophecy is his final fate, he fights hard and in the end prevails showing his strong nature and the fact that nothing is constant in the world and everything can be changed.

Keith and Koku both show despair in their journeys with Keith being traumatized by an event from the past and Koku being in despair as he searches for a girl that he only remembers from his memories. The connection between Keith and Koku also runs deep and as they find each other Koku gains the hope that he needs to do his task and find the girl he is looking for. Koku’s character also shows how a promise made when he was a child drives him even when he’s grown up. His promise gives him the hope he needs. There are also scenes in the childhood flashback that show how much Koku his suffered thus justifying his happy ending. Keith on the other hand despite being the genius is only driven by his desire for revenge. He solves all the mysteries that are put before him and gets the chance for revenge. Even though he tries to be better, his opponent’s master plan shows that the entire plot was aimed at one thing and that was to see how far Keith Flick could be pushed. Keith’s despair is resolved only at the end of the show where he accepts that winning or losing the mind game didn’t matter to him.

The ending, oh how I love the ending. I kept this whole review spoiler free but I am just going to drop a tiny little bomb here and that is ‘not all is as it seems’. The ending is satisfying and lovely with Koku having a happy end having won his fight against fate and Keith going on to work with RIS having had his revenge. The ending also gives us a post credits scene where we find out that the show definitely isn’t over and that there will be more trouble coming to Koku and Keith in the future.

So that is it for this post guys hope you got some value from this.  Thank you guys for reading to the end hit me up on Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn with your thoughts and if you have any ideas which I should write about. Stay safe from the COVID-19. Thank you again and I’ll see you all next week.

STEINS GATE; FRIENDSHIP, LOVE AND SCIENCE FICTION

Hey guys what is up welcome back to my blog I’m so thankful that you guys took the time out of your day to read my blog post. Hope you all are safe from the COVID-19. I watched Steins Gate finally after keeping it in my watch list for so long and I have to say, it made me cry. While the show is science fiction there is more of a personal driving factor than a purpose for the greater good. I recommend it because of the likeable characters but for now let’s break down Steins Gate. I have tried to keep it as spoiler free as possible but read at your own risk please. I don’t want to spoil the show for you.

The story follows Okabe Rintaro a student who has rented out a place and along with friends Mayuri and Daru runs a ‘lab’. Always believing himself to be the mad scientist Houin Kyoma and believing that he is fighting an ‘organization’ to change the world’s ruling structure. However he creates a time machine that can send mail into the past and change the present. The first 11 episodes introduce us to the vast cast of characters and how they all send a mail to the past to change the present. Receiving a rude awakening of what happens when he plays with time, our protagonist Okabe Rintaro decides to time travel using another machine in order to change what he saw.

The conflict of time is the main thing in the story showing how a little change can make a large difference making the present look much much different (The Butterfly effect). The show shows that no matter how much a person tries to get away from the flow of time everyone needs to surrender to it. Okabe time travels again and again to prevent a horrible future not for the fate of humanity (though he also prevents that) but for his own personal reasons.

The ‘time leaping’ as they call it in the show that Okabe does and the sending of D-mails (mails in to the past) shows that Okabe though pretending to care for nothing but himself cares for his friends the most. Letting them send D-mail to alter their pasts knowing that it would affect the timeline. The other friends – which he gains throughout the duration of the show – of Okabe also give up on their own selfish needs and coming to terms with their past and getting the fact that they should not mess with time to save a life showing that they care for nothing more than their friendships.

Okabe’s care for his friends runs far deeper though, having time leapt and made changes but still seeing the same thing happen again and again he decides that he will keep up the loop even if it breaks him. He also make a personal sacrifice being ready to give up his life on 2 occasions (Which will make you cry I promise) to save his friends. The backstory also shows how he got into the personality of Houin Kyoma which was to help out Mayuri in her time of need. Houin Kyoma gave him the strength he needed in order to keep pushing ahead and keep him from showing his deep care for his friends often acting like a jerk. Okabe Rintaro and Houin Kyoma are like 2 souls in one body trying to help each other stay strong and push through their tough life.

SPOLIER IF YOU HAVEN’T WATCHED PLEASE GO TO NEXT PARAGRAPH.  Okabe’s message from his future self actually made me cry hard because it showed how he never stopped caring for Kurisu and understood that he needed to push forward so that one day he can save Kurisu and bring the world into the Steins Gate timeline. He shows that even if he grew mature his being in the personality of Houin Kyoma gave him strength and so when he speaks to Okabe it’s like Houin speaking to Okabe as he already says that for him Houin is dead. The talk between them, the operation naming and ending with their signature secret code shows Houin giving Okabe the hope and strength for which Houin was created. The laughing of Okabe after that really hit’s hard showing that he adopts Houin again to carry out the final task and take the world to the Steins Gate timeline.

Kurisu’s love confession in episode 23 and 25 both show that when she said that feelings and emotions and even experiences transcend time and the different world lines in order to make a ‘person’. Though the Kurisu in the Steins gate time has never spent that much time with Okabe she still remembers the other world lines in the form of dreams and her feelings for Okabe show that some things indeed trancesnd time to make a person and the fact that they made a 25th episode to show us the Steins Gate timeline and ended it with Kurisu saying close your eyes just like the first time shows that like some other things in the show the love between Okabe and Kurisu was also an inevitability.

ANOTHER SPOILER FILLED PARAGRAH PLEASE SKIP. The story actually comes full circle and by the 24th episode we really get to know that the titles of the episode aren’t just nonsense it actually makes sense and the prologue begins with the end of the show and the show actually becomes one big time loop with the Okabe of the past still seeing what needs to see and the Okabe of the present whom we follow gets the happy ending that he deserves by coming to the Steins Gate. This shows that in the end it was possible to create a better world by not changing any of the events there and the fact that Okabe waited to see his past self, start on the journey of 3 weeks that shapes his life shows that the 3 weeks of time leaping he spent weren’t hell but actually was what needed to happen to bring the world lines back into order and go the Steins Gate.

The name Steins Gate which Okabe keeps saying throughout the series reveals its true meaning at the end of the 23rd episode which in actuality is a name for the timeline that Okabe must shift the world to in order for everything to be okay. The name however bears no meaning but when we actually see the Steins Gate timeline and the happy faces of all our beloved characters it becomes clear that it had meaning to it and that was only because it had people in it. Steins Gate in the end was nothing to the entire world but something to Okabe Rintaro that guided him throughout his journey. The Steins Gate timeline also shows that no matter what in the end the future is always uncertain. There is a lot more to talk about but I just can’t over here so please go and watch the anime. I highly highly recommend it.

TEACHINGS FROM BEYOND BIRTH AND DEATH

Hey guys what is up welcome back to my blog I’m so thankful that you guys took the time out of your day to read my blog post. Hope you all are safe from the COVID-19. I have always promised to bring you guys the best content and value out there so this week I was reading a book called ‘Beyond birth and death’. I know some of you don’t believe in reincarnation or that there is even something after death but please read this book once and your views will change. That is my promise to all of you.

This is a book by AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada and I highly suggest you google the name and find out all about his movement and his life. This book has been phenomenal in introducing people to spiritual life. So we’re going to go deep inside and I’m going to point out the main teachings from the book.

  1. We are not these bodies we are the soul

I can guarantee that half of you are leaving as soon you hear this because this isn’t that popular of a thing these days. So the basic example is that the body is a machine and the soul is the driver. The soul is a spiritual spark. Just as a machine is useless without a driver the body is useless without the soul. So you might ask why is this useful in our lives? I’ll tell you. The mind is frustrated because it always wants more and more. Let’s take an example of a businessman who aspired to make a lot of money but even though he has a lot, he makes one more deal to gain more money but the deal goes wrong and he doesn’t get the money. The mind of that man will get agitated and he will go into envy by seeing other people making money and fall into depression. All because he associated himself with the body and his body cannot enjoy that money. Whereas if a man considers himself the soul, he will let the money go and instead of being jealous be grateful for what he has and keep on working diligently. He won’t ever lose hope. That’s the amount of improvement just one teaching of this book can bring.

  • Your thoughts at death and actions in life will decide your next body

Again I see a lot of you leaving but for the ones that are already here listen up. The reason why there are so many criminals in this age is because they believe they can get away with everything but if they know that there is a higher power watching their actions and that they will have to bear the consequences of their sins either in this life or the next that will keep them in check. Now we never know when death might come and if thoughts at death decide our next body then people will always think good things and we do what we think so our actions will also change. That will improve the overall behaviour of people towards each other and create a better society. Reduction in crime and people being nice to each other all from another chapter. That is fascinating.

  • The world is a place of suffering and there is a way to escape it

This is my favourite part of the book. I think everyone of us has known at some point or another that there is a lot of suffering in the world. I am going to try to explain this as good as I can but you need to read this chapter. So remember that there is a soul and that we take birth again and again in different bodies. So what if someone wants to be free from this repeated cycle? There are 2 worlds. The material and the spiritual world. The world we live in is the material world. And we need to go to the spiritual world if we want to be free. Call it heaven if you want to. Let’s say that there is a process that you need to follow and I can’t explain that here in detail. We need to worship God so that when we finally achieve our deaths we can be taken to the spiritual sky and ISKCON is the perfect movement to join for that. The advantages are that ISKCON is a community and gives aimless people a purpose especially teens so that they can get out of drugs and gangs and instead do something nice and serve the community. Second, crime rates again drop as there are a set of rules to follow in ISKCON and to worship God and they include that you don’t do any crimes. You can worship your own God just make sure that you do it with a pure heart. This teaching will help people out a lot and I’m sure you know now.

I couldn’t do this book justice in here and I know that so please read the book and see for yourself the wonders of that book. My advice would be to read it with an open mind and see it from each perspective. The book has many more teachings explained with vivid descriptions of stories and examples. Read the book take the teachings and improve your life. Hit me up with any questions or leave them in the comments.

Reviewing: HOW TO SELL DRUGS ONLINE (FAST)

Hey guys what is up welcome back to my blog I’m so thankful that you guys took the time out of your day to read my blog post. Hope you all are safe from the COVID-19. I found that season 2 of How to sell drugs online had hit and I just knew that I had to watch it and after it was finished it left me wanting for more but also realizing that I look at the characters a much different way now than before.

I watches Season 1 of How to Sell Drugs Online when it came out so it made sense that I was desperately waiting for season 2 and when I saw that notification of new arrivals and saw this on it I was thrilled. Just to be clear I will be spoiling entire season 1 because if you haven’t watched it till now then it is not my fault. I will try to keep Season 2 spoilers to a minimum so no need to worry about that. Let’s recap what happened in Season 1 shall we? (If you don’t want to skip to the next chapter)  So the show begins with Moritz your local loner coder who wants to build a start up with his diseased friend Lenny. His girlfriend comes over from America and he is pissed that she broke up with him. He finds out that his girlfriend Lisa is interested in the guy named Dan and that Dan sells drugs. So what does Moritz do? Unlike being a normal guy and drowning his sorrows in the night by crying, he decides to buy drugs and start selling them too. He reprograms the site he built for his start up naming it My Drugs and gets a hold of drugs from Dan’s supplier whom he cheats (Take note it comes into play later in the story). He begins supplying these drugs through his new website on the dark web and starts making a ton of money (in bitcoin) by packing and shipping drugs from his room. Things start to go downhill when his supplier comes knocking and wants his money. He kidnaps Lenny and Moritz takes help from Dan to save him. The supplier (whose name I have forgotten) shoots himself on accident and the 3 escape and Dan is welcomed into My Drugs.

Season 2 picks up a while after where we left off in Season 1 and we see that the boys have had a successful business and they’ve made a billion. Moritz however starts getting irritated by Dan being present and considers him of no value. This shows how Moritz despite being so cool with Lenny working in the business doesn’t want Dan in it because he considers Dan to careless. Things begin to go downhill when Moritz wants to move up even more in the drug world so much so that he is prepared to give up his school life to have an office with his suppliers in Rotterdam and have a seat at the table of the big shots. Moritz deeply struggles with trust in this season showing how his web of lies slowly starts to gnaw away at him. Lenny on the other hand wants to bring in another person and make more money but he also doesn’t want to leave his home town and his friends. Moritz starts becoming possessive of the business becoming too careful and overconfident in his own self. So much so that it lead to his ultimate demise at the end of the season (he doesn’t die). Dan also needs the money from My Drugs to prove to his family that he can be something. The boys are also going to graduate soon and they mutually decide to stop My Drugs after that but Moritz doesn’t want to stop thinking of himself more as the CEO and Founder of My Drugs than Mortiz working at his home to sell drugs with Lenny. Moritz changes a lot, he shows character development and his deep attachment to My Drugs. Dan also grows as a character leaving his lifestyle of being just a rich kid behind. Lenny doesn’t change much but he does comes to terms with his condition.

The long and short of the show is that there is more to come and kids shouldn’t sell drugs. The show handles the new season really well as with the first season it showed Moritz’s rise to power using his brain. The second season shows Moritz moving even higher up on the food chain while leaving his friends behind and that leads to his ultimate demise. Moritz shows that he just wanted to move up and not forget his friends as he does still protect them but his web of lies make it so much more complicated for him than when it was at the start. The show really shows how a high schooler who once started on the wrong path falls down a rabbit hole and how once someone enters this life of drug dealing it is hard to get out. Moritz is a perfect example of what happens when someone gets too deep into the business of drugs so much so that he is ready to lose himself. Another point that the show establishes is that not everything is as it seems. We need to learn to educate kids better on the dangers of dealing drugs and not hide the conversation. The series is masterfully crafted and a must watch for anymore just don’t get any ideas from there. Stay safe.

AC VALAHALLA: ALL WE KNOW

Hey guys what is up welcome back to my blog I’m so thankful that you guys took the time out of your day to read my blog post. Hope you all are safe from the COVID-19. It’s another Assassins Creed post I know. So the release date for Valhalla is getting close and I am pumped for it I want to play it I am excited so I thought what better thing to talk about than all we know about it. So let’s get into it.

  • Release date

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be released on November 17 on PS4, Xbox One and PC, and later on PS5 and Xbox Series X. Like any classic Assassins Creed game there are going to be many different versions that you can buy with the pricey ones mostly giving out free figurines and things. They are giving away a free mission with the pre order so keep your eyes peeled for that. I think I’ll be going with the normal version for now because the other versions aren’t as appealing to me.

  • Protagonist

You will play as Viking warrior and clan leader Eivor. Unlike Odyssey, Valhalla will only let you play as a single protagonist though you will be able to choose Eivor’s gender, while several customization options for hair, tattoos, and more will also be featured. Eagle Vision will also be making a return for which I am stoked this time, Eivor’s companion will be a raven the symbol of death which fits perfectly to the Viking warrior persona. You can also switch the genders as you play meaning that you can play as a guy Eivor for a time then switch to the girl Eivor so that is going to be fun. Romance will be open to both genders so that’s another fun thing to experiment with. Layla Hassan returns for the modern day story.

  • Dual Wielding

This is probably the thing that I am the most excited for because you can dual wield anything in this game because Eivor is a badass and twice as deadly as any other warrior. I hated that in Origins you always had to use a shield which wasn’t my style as I prefer to continually attack, Odyssey brought the spear which made it better but I can’t wait to take on 2 axes and charge into battle like crazy. Also I can’t wait to see the different animations of wielding completely different kinds of weapons in each hand.

  • Settlement

So apparently you have a village or settlement of your clan that you have to take care of and grow which will be an essential part of the game. This really brings back the feels from Assassins Creed 2 where we had to upgrade the city and things like that. This settlement will act as a central hub of sorts, with quests, storylines, and more centring around it. You’ll be able to add new buildings and recruit more people to your Viking village and as per the developer, each new building will serve a purpose and so too will each new recruit.

  • Progression

It also looks like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will have a different take on progression mechanics than the pure numbers game that dominated proceedings in Odyssey. Speaking with Game Informer in the aforementioned interview, Ismail said that progression in Valhalla is less about levels and more about your power, which, in turn, is defined by the skills that you’ve unlocked. So it looks like we’ll have to rely much more on our own skills in the game rather than getting a better weapon that can kill an enemy with one hit. It will sort of be like the old games I think where you could get better weapons by buying them but also your combat skills taught to you were what really showed the result of the battle. There will also be a lot less grinding as a result which I would love.

  • Hidden Blade

This deserves its own little spot because the hidden blade is what made the games iconic it is what was always loved by the players and Odyssey sort of ruined that with the spear it brought better assassinations but it didn’t have the same feel. I am very excited for the top hidden blade mechanic as it will bring about new animations and new ways the blade is used. Despite that Eivor isn’t much of an assassin as we all know the game will bring back stealth too but the new games just focus more on badass combat than stealth.

  • Naval Combat

Naval gameplay has been a pretty big part of Assassin’s Creed games ever since it was first introduced in AC3 and it will be making a return in Valhalla as well. It is not going to be as much of a focus as it was in Odyssey or Black Flag. Eivor will have a longship that will have its own crew with people you can recruit, but while the ship will be used for plenty of exploration, naval combat won’t be much of a focus this time around.

  • Mythology is less

While Odyssey and Origins were just straight up ridiculous with the mythology Valhalla will have lighter aspects of it so this will not be a repeat of you fighting creatures of legend rather much lighter things as the game will take inspiration from the Norse mythology and not just dive into it. A few references maybe a few weapons associated to them and stuff like that.

  • Raids

Is it really a Viking game without war, screaming, combat and bloodshed ? No. So you will come across various military locations across the entire England map in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and you will be able to raid every single one of them. Through these raids, you will be able to bring back more resources to upgrade your settlement, better weapons to help against more powerful foes, and more. Players will also be able to attack giant fortifications and more.

  • Map

Assassin’s Creed games never shy away from delivering gargantuan open world environments to players but we already know that the map will be not as big as Odyssey but big regardless. Though Ubisoft hasn’t yet revealed every single location in the game they have revealed some interesting details. The map is quite large, and will cover large swathes of Norway and England. Though the game will begin in Norway, the most of it is set in England. The England map will cover four kingdoms: Wessex, Northumbria, East Anglia, and Mercia. Within these, there will be at least three major cities to visit, confirmed to be London, Winchester, and Jórvík. In addition to that, there will also be various smaller towns.

THE OLD GUARD : IMMORTALITY IS A CURSE ?

Hey guys what is up welcome back to my blog I’m so thankful that you guys took the time out of your day to read my blog post. Hope you all are safe from the COVID-19. So I watched The Old Guard and man it hit me hard like hard hard. I already had something planned but I changed it to write this that’s how hard it hit me. The US people had an opportunity to win almost a lifetime worth of Netflix subscription by playing a little game. Anyway let’s talk about the different themes of this movie and obviously I recommend it so let’s get into it.

The Old Guard is a superhero movie where 4, centuries old people act as mercenaries and take on contracts to try and help the world and its people. The only specialty about them is that they’re immortal, they can’t die and that may seem like a really good thing but we see in the film how it gets so old. While it may seem like they would be having the time of their lives it’s actually shown that they have to live in hiding so that they’re not discovered. They fear capture because as they cannot be killed their fate would be internal torture because of their immortality. Having seen one of their members go through this before Charlize Theron’s character Andy is shown to have the desire to protect her team from that terrible fate.

So the movie itself isn’t able to give you a lot of backstory in the characters but I guess it’s fair because it got like 2 hours to cram everything in but if you look at the characters you can immediately see what kind of people they are. They are  all simple characters like Luca Marinelli as Nicky and Marwan Kenzari as Joe. These 2 are kind to the people of the world and just want to use their immortality to help the people. Matthias Schoenaerts as Booker has a different approach because we see how he saw his family die and couldn’t help them. His family showed great resentment towards him because of that and so his loneliness makes him want to end his immortality. Lastly, Charlize Theron as Andy is the oldest of them all, is the most badass and well she’s lost people but she’s been fighting for the world but in the movie we see her as a character who just wants out because she doesn’t think she’s making a difference in the world. These 4 are shown to be a tight knit group referencing strategies as jobs they did in different times and placing their full trust in each other which ultimately leads to some complications but it’s cool. KiKi Layne as Nile is the newest and tries to learn about her immortality from the others and each of them has something different to teach her. At the end of the movie we see her embrace her immortality and move on with her new role.

So the film begins with Charlize Theron’s character thinking about all the past times she’s experienced near death and each time thinking if that would be it for her. Having lived for too long she and her team are shown to be waiting for their death taking on dangerous jobs and charging into fights with one goal ‘finish the mission without getting captured’. Then comes the twist of recruiting a new member and betrayal.  KiKi Layne’s character Niles is the new member who is shown to be the direct opposite of Addy in every possible way shows a new hope to the group. She is firstly shown to be in denial about her newly discovered powers whereas Addy has accepted her immortality fully. One of them doesn’t want the life at all while for the other the immortal life is all she has. One of them is a killing machine while the other is still living with the guilt of their first kill. This shows their contrasting yet similar characteristics. The others of the group are also shown to have grown tired of their immortality as *SPOILERS SKIP TO THE NEXT PARAGRAPH IF YOU DON’T WANT THEM* Addy gets betrayed by her own team mate because he wants to end his immortality.

We see that having been alive for so long just fighting not knowing a why the group has grown tired but at the end of the movie we see how their actions have shaped the world to what it is now and how they need to keep going on. The belief is also put forward that their immortality doesn’t stop working just randomly it happens when their time has come so yes destiny too plays a major role in their lives. So immortality isn’t a curse it’s a tool to be used wisely. Though we see Andy say that she doesn’t believe in a God we can see through her actions that she indeed does. The movie in the end put forward the message that everyone has a purpose and everything happens for a reason so take that and implement it.

REASONS AC ORIGINS IS BETTER THAN ODYSSEY

Hey guys what is up welcome back to my blog I’m so thankful that you guys took the time out of your day to read my blog post. Hope you all are safe from the COVID-19. I recently replayed both Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and Origins (yes I have a lot of time on my hands) and I began thinking about just how much better Origins is than Odyssey. Don’t get fired up its my personal opinion so lets get into it.

  1. HIDDEN BLADE

Admit it the hidden blade is cool and is the icon of Assassins Creed. When they removed it in Odyssey and gave us just the spear it was disappointing really disappointing. It does give us those spear throw assassinations but it just doesn’t feel much like any other Assassins Creed game when you can’t get behind an enemy and just stab a blade in their throats. Also the scene where Bayek’s finger gets cut off is also just too good showing us the origins of the finger cutting tradition we saw.

2. NO POWER SCALING

One of the greatest joys of RPGs is the sense of progression. Being able to go out into the world, handle various quests before returning to older areas to overpower opponents which were once a handful. It’s why there are so many people who enjoy grinding in RPGs. Odyssey removed that aspect, making it impossible to ever be stronger than two levels over your opponent. It’s nowhere near as enjoyable as Origins’ different zones that are locked to a specific level range. Hopefully, in future AC games, they’ll decide to stick with Origins’ way of handling things.

3. EGYPT IS AMAZING

The map for Odyssey was really well done with all those gorgeous locations but the best thing about Origins is that it feels a lot better. The hot sands of the deserts, exploring the game’s giant pyramids, swimming in the rivers, boating around in lakes, the gorgeous view from Giza, I could go on and on and on- this is an experience only available in Origins because while Odyssey was big and gorgeous it just felt as if something was missing from it.

4. BETTER PROTAGONIST

Kassandra is good I’m not going to lie with her witty comebacks and sometimes scaring attitude but she is just lacking the seriousness that we find in Bayek. Bayek was a good protagonist because his interest in revenge for his son is his sole driving factor while Kassandra just gets wrapped up in something and it just progresses from there. Bayek has a clear motivation from the start of the story and goes through real pain that the player can feel.

5. BETTER SIDE QUESTS

No one likes grinding in games but Origins makes it worth it by providing us either with quests that are related to the main story or even if they are completely unrelated they have a complete arc and aren’t simple fetch quests, kill quests, sink quests where you have to kill someone just cause or do something just cause rather in Origins every event has a story behind it and that is why Bayek does the things for the people that he does. I grinded hard in Origins and I enjoyed it.

6. ONE SHOT ASSASSINATIONS

Now let me be clear the reason the older Assassins Creed games were better was because you could kill any enemy with an assassination no matter what but that changed Origins and you needed to upgrade your hidden blade to make assassinations work and after a bit of grinding when you get to about level 15 you can easily upgrade your blade so that you can one shot your enemies. In Odyssey no matter how hard you tried you would always end up getting in combat after a few assassinations because even some of the little guys could take on your blade.

7. BETTER SKILL SYSTEM

The most annoying thing in Odyssey was obtaining a bunch of skills but not using any because you just stuck with your first 4 that you got but despite that you still need to get the others so you can go higher up the skill tree to unlock the passive skills that help you out without you having to quip them. Origins had a good Skill Tree and I loved pouring points into it and having skills that worked without me having to constantly go into a menu and equip and un equip them.

8. PARKOUR

Okay I for sure don’t like the new parkour system but Bayek still felt smooth when you climbed up a wall or a cliff and pulled yourself up. The movements were fluid and felt good but Kassandra and Alexios just felt so stiff when they moved that it felt like they were wooden statues. Also just as a side note I loved the parkour in Assassins Creed 2.

9. ACTUAL ASSASSINS CREED

Origins showed us the origins of the creed with the Hidden Ones but Odyssey was just a good RPG with a huge map and lots of quests. The game was in no way bad but it just wasn’t Assassins Creed it felt more like being a mercenary (and secret superhero) in Greece and not at all like an assassin. I know that it ties into Origins with the DLC but Kassandra or Alexios aren’t assassins they’re just bad-ass mercenaries with spears and demi-god powers.

ANOTHER: ANIME CAN DO HORROR

Hey guys what is up welcome back to my blog I’m so thankful that you guys took the time out of your day to read my blog post. Hope you all are safe from the COVID-19. All I have done this quarantine is watch something, write about it, spread it everywhere and repeat. So today I bring you a great anime series that I have watched called Another.

Now I don’t know much abut horror anime but I do know that from what I’ve seen anime doesn’t really do horror very well. Sometimes they can give you a scare but I’ve never had a chill to the bones kind of moment with any anime but then I came across this anime on Netflix called ‘Another’ and it had 12 episodes each about 20 minutes so I thought why not. I first thought it to be a crime thriller but the first episode quickly corrected my mistake. The anime is all about horror of course there is a mystery that needs to be solved to end this horror like any classic horror story but there is just something about Another that makes you lose your nerve really quick. I am not saying that you’ll be hiding behind your covers and covering your eyes but there is just something strange about it. You’ll feel a strange feeling every moment as if danger and death lurks everywhere. The silence of an empty room or the music during an encounter with a seemingly dead person its the sounds that really make the horror. If you’re expecting to see a ghost like that in a classic horror movie forget it you’re not getting it but there are certainly really strange things in the anime.

The story is simple enough a guy named Kōichi Sakakibara moves to his birth town of Yomiyama to live with his aunt and grandparents because his father is working abroad so anyway he meets a girl with an eye patch named Misaki Mei. There is something off about Mei first is her eye patch and then it seems like only Kōichi can see Mei and though he is told that he should not talk to her he does and calamity strikes. There is also a story that happened 39 years ago in the class where a Misaki killed himself and a few days after the kids of the class started saying that he is not dead and he is there. The teacher joins in and the principal even arranges a seat for him at the graduation ceremony and he even appears in the class photograph. This is weird for sure but it doesn’t end there. The rest you need to find out yourself, needless to say it is one hell of an interesting ride. So since then the class of Misaki is haunted and the students of that class always behave weird and our hero does not have the faintest clue as to what he is in for. The true horror element is the sheer weirdness and unusual things that happen in the story. SPOILER ALERT SKIP TO NEXT PARAGRAPH TO BE SAFE: The kids also start to kill each other at one point and that is chilling.

The students start dying brutal deaths and I mean brutal deaths and then there is one hell of a race against time as to who is causing all these deaths because there is a ghost among them and why they are happening and for the beginning of it our hero Kōichi is kept in the dark and it is due to this that a shit show begins. There are light hearted moments in between (of course the show writers don’t want you to have a heart attack) that you can count on your fingers and don’t last for long. The main characters are Kōichi and Mei so much so that I don’t even remember the names of most of the other characters or maybe I am just bad at remembering Japanese names. The creepiness and the music made me shudder and had me walking around my own house watching my back. Also after this series you’ll start hating dolls because they add to the creepy element of the series.

So after this series I finally understood that anime can do horror and it can do bone chilling horror (or maybe I cam just a scared cat) and I am not one who is going to underestimate horror anime again. Also the deduction falls that while live action movies focus on sights to scare us, Anime goes on to use sounds and other elements to scare us. After this series if you feel alone be aware maybe there is another with you just kidding there is nothing of the sorts most people aren’t affected by a ghost haunting. Also drop your anime suggestions in the comments or DM me on my social media.

CONTROL Z: AN IDEAL WORLD WITHOUT SECRETS?

Hey guys what is up welcome back to my blog I’m so thankful that you guys took the time out of your day to read my blog post. Hope you all are safe from the COVID-19. I was watching Control Z on Netflix, (yes I do have an account I’m not that cheap) and thought it seemed very unrealistic but the ending just left me wondering.

So if any of you are not familiar with the story. It follows the story of a school with a bunch of really fucked up students with secrets that are better left untouched. Meet Sofia a student with obvious mental health issues who also notices things that others don’t such as hair stuck on someone’s shirt showing they got a haircut or watching everyone and figuring out their daily routines to the dot. Needless to say she is the main character and she will be the one who’s story we’re going to be looking at and yes don’t worry we’re going to get a good backstory on her and all the other characters. So at first glance it seems like a normal high school, Bullying is prevalent, the rich kids are stuck up jerks and everyone has secrets. A new kid Javier comes in son of a football star Javier or Javi as the others call him gets picked on by the bullies at the school and makes quick friends with Sofia and we know that there’s a romance brewing in there somewhere. Now in an assembly a video is played revealing a secret of one of the students. Another boy Raul comes to Sofia telling her that he has been receiving threats too. It’s obvious that Raul likes Sofia but Sofia doesn’t reciprocate his feelings and they have a history that is revealed later. So Sofia like a good main character sets off on a hunt to catch the hacker as he starts revealing more and more secrets. It’s a classic race against time type of story.

Now that’s all I can share without giving out any major spoilers about that show and it’s story because some of you may want to watch it. Now let’s dive into the real question this show puts forward. Is a world without secrets really ideal or is it better to leave secrets as they are, hidden. If you watch the show you’ll find that the kids have done some messed up things and though everyone puts on a front and acts like there isn’t anything happening some struggle with keeping their secrets while others manage to hide it well. Everything essential descend into chaos when everyone starts receiving the texts that someone knows their secret. We hide behind a mask everywhere in real life, in social media but somewhere along those lines we commit mistakes or we do something wrong intentionally or we hide our true selves and we’re afraid of what would happen if our secrets got out and everyone finds out our true selves but we forget that the truth will come out one day, some way or another. I think that keeping secrets is just signing a warrant that says that you want to suffer a big consequence in the long term rather than have a small consequence in the short term. See if the people that did the mistakes just put out what they did rather than keep them a secret the hacker wouldn’t have been able to use it against them. This is what actually happens the only way that you can truly gain respect is not by being a brat or having a lot of money and throwing it around. You earn respect by being truthful and when you don’t have secrets you know that no one can take you down or taint your reputation. Once a reputation gets tainted then it’s really hard to make it back. Don’t get me wrong here if you want to keep your secrets keep them I’m putting out my thoughts and opinions here which you can reflect on and implement it. Just remember if you fall in trouble because you kept secrets then don’t cry about it because in this world of internet nothing is hidden. Dig deep enough and nothing is hidden. Also I really really recommend watching Control Z mostly because you can see what really can happen if you keep secrets just don’t use it as an example to not use the internet if anything keep your data safer and don’t connect to public Wi-Fi without protection and don’t think that your data is safe when you use the internet your data is somewhere on there. Stay safe.

13 REASONS WHY: A take on teen depression

Hey guys what is up welcome back to my blog I’m so thankful that you guys took the time out of your day to read my blog post. Hope you all are safe from the COVID-19. We all know about 13 reasons why if not then maybe you have been living under a rock regardless the show got its last season recently and it was a real treat with all the plots that began from the first season.

So the basic plot from the first season is that a girl names Hannah Baker commits suicide and leaves behind 13 tapes containing 13 reasons why she committed suicide. The ‘reasons’ also have a boy names Clay Jensen who after listening to the tapes wants to get Hannah justice. The people in the tapes are bound by the secret of the tapes. A lot of shit happens and there are a few fights as there should be in a high school show. The cast is diverse. There are real people problems like racism. While most people say that the 4th season moved away from the story of Hannah I just think that it was the perfect wrap up for all the characters and Hannah’s story. The new season, the 4th one wraps up the story resolving all the plots and sub plots and most of all it follows more of the characters dealing with stress and depression than the murder, who killed who and getting justice that the last 3 seasons were. (WARNING MILD SPOILERS AHEAD IF YOU WANT TO WATCH THE SHOW THEN SKIP TO NEXT PARAGRAPH) Clay suffers from depression and anxiety so much so that he dissociates.

So as the season begins with saying that another death has taken place and that it’s the fault of the generations that came before them because they messed things up put in too much hate in the world and there was too little caring. This proves to be true because one of the many reasons Hannah committed suicide was surprise surprise because she was bullied and not in the slammed against the locker way but in a mental way and as we see she faces crisis after crisis until finally she just breaks as she can’t take it anymore. This is actually a very accurate representation of a teen in the world we live in today. There is so much hate in high school and while there may be a ban on physical bullying there is still mental and emotional bullying. Hannah isn’t given any chances she didn’t talk to anyone because she considered the world around her cruel and that her hurt could be stopped with suicide. She didn’t do it just after one act but after multiple acts of hurt just laid upon her mercilessly one after another. In all this she forgets about the good things that she has in life because that’s not what we’re taught. We’re taught to swallow up emotions and just bear with whatever comes our way. We’re told that we have it good and that it was much worse in the times before. Some people even take it to the level of saying that depression isn’t even real and that teens fake it for attention. I say not true. Yes not every teen faces the hardest struggles of life that doesn’t mean that their struggles are not struggles.

The new season shows Clay Jensen and the others severely depressed because of that they did. Some just can’t even go on anymore. Some turn to drugs and alcohol for comfort just because they didn’t know what they could do. They didn’t have a way to fix their lives. They lived with their guilt. Now not every teen murders someone in their high school life much less cover it up and get away with it. The deeper meaning here is that teens struggle. They struggle with bullying and not being able to talk to someone. They struggle with trying to do the right thing. They struggle with seeing who is helping them and who is not. They struggle with ‘surviving high school’. Now I want everyone to think long and hard about this ‘Is this the world we want to create?’ The answer will come to you automatically. If you think that the world is good as it is then by all means continue living. If not then do something. Change something. Get up with a smile on your face, try to make others smile, try to help other people, try to spread positivity instead of hate. If you see someone struggling with issues help them out. Try just try because that is all we can do. We are the people who make the world and we are the ones who can change it.

TOP 10 PS5 GAMES CONFIRMED

Hey guys what is up welcome back to my blog I’m so thankful that you guys took the time out of your day to read my blog post. Hope you all are safe from the COVID-19. SO the PS5 hit and in case you’re considering whether to buy it or not here are the top games that can convince to you to buy it.

  • Horizon 2: Forbidden west

Can I just say I might just might buy the PS5 for this game because it’s Horizon everyone loves it. Aloy returns, the graphics are amazing, new areas to explore and most of all new enemies to fight. There’s water and underwater exploration come on guys that’s the best thing possible. If we get to ride a flying machine it will be amazing I might just take one and ride it all day long.

  • Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla

3 words Vikings and hidden blades. You’ve all seen the trailer and you all know that you want it. The game will look amazing on the new hardware of the PS5 and you can dual equip any 2 weapons I mean how cool is that. I think the new setting and the new raid missions will just make it all better and there’s ship travel hopefully so naval battles and its Vikings there’s going to be a lot of fun stuff going around.

  • Spider man : Miles Morales

Now this is said to be more of an expansion on the previous Spider man and we also don’t know what continuity of Miles it follows and why Peter is not there to take care of crime or maybe Peter is just off somewhere and Miles has to step up and take responsibility of the town. Personally I would like to see new suit because it looks amazing and the best thing here would be just climbing the tallest building and jumping off while What’s Up Danger plays in the back.

  • Watch Dogs: Legion

With the way things are going right now the safety of the people is important and Legion has been long delayed so it would be better to just release it on the new consoles. I also want to play the game a lot so I hope they release it for the PS4 too. It’s Watch Dogs I’ve been a long standing fan and I do hope that this one really delivers on what it promises.

  • The Last of Us 2

The trailer is fantastic. The story will be heart breaking. The graphics will be breath taking. It’s The Last of Us and Ellie is back in action with some new regions for us to go to and a whole lot of questions that we need answers too and you can finally crawl in the game that’s another cool thing. The combat seems to have some newer aspects and now you can see what customizations you make to your gun so you can shoot zombies and look cool with a cool gun doing it.

  • GOTHIC

So this game is from before I was even born so makes sense that I never got a chance to play it because I don’t really play RPG’s very much but this game looks good and the vibe is definitely of that monster hunting aspect. I’ve come to know that it’s a full remake of the 2001 version so I expect some good things from this one. I also heard that this game gave Elder Scrolls a run for its money and that’s saying something. Needless to say there are some pretty high expectations here from the now revived and very much active THQ Nordic and I hope they plan on living up to them.

  • Cyberpunk 2077

The highly customizable, open world game is here. It’s supposed to be having a immersive RPG storyline and I’ll believe it when I see it and it features the one and only Keanu Reeves the real one. The intense customization seems to go down to the last bit of detail if you know about it then it’s okay if not google it but I am not talking about it here. This has been a long awaited game and the hype is real so it’s going to be a good one.

  • GODFALL

Godfall is the first game where we have cast-iron confirmation of a PS5-exclusive launch title. Godfall which is currently being created by Borderlands developer Gearbox with Couterplay Games a studio that worked on God of War so you know that this is going to be awesome and it has been officially confirmed for holiday 2020 and is supposed to be a ‘looter-slasher”. I don’t really know how it works but we need to just trust the developers and go with it. I’m sure they will seliver us something truly amazing. It’s supposed to be a Borderlands x God of War thing so that’s good.

  • Outriders

Very little was known about Outriders an ambitious-looking RPG co-op from People Can Fly and Square Enix until its recent launch trailer. Set on a world called Enoch humanity has attempted to colonise the world but unleashed something terrible in the process as we humans always do fuck everything up. A trio of heroes combine superpowers with sci-fi weaponry to fight humanity’s corner. It’s expected on both PS4 and PS5, but its “Holiday 2020” release date seems to cement its status as a PS5 launch title.

  • Gods and Monsters

Ubisoft debuted a short trailer for its next action-packed game Gods and Monsters at last year’s E3. Not due to hit shelves until 2021 the game will see you take control of an unnamed female hero to battle mythological monsters in what looks to be a stylised ancient Greece. We’ve only seen broken marble pillars and harpy-esque creatures so far could we dive into other mythologies over the course of the game? With glowing swords bright colours and sumptuous backgrounds that make it look like a Legend of Zelda game. I think a lot of people will be wanting this as it hits the stores.

That’s the top 10 confirmed games for PS5 I hope there are going to be some amazing new deals and bundles on Black Friday so I can get it but the amazing games already confirmed, backwards compatibility and many many more games to come the PS5 is definitely going to crush the market.

REVIEW OF MAYBE YOU SHOULD TALK TO SOMEONE

Hey guys what is up welcome back to my blog I’m so thankful that you guys took the time out of your day to read my blog post. Hope you all are safe from the COVID-19. I haven’t been reviewed any book in a while that is because I’ve been reading and really diving deep into Lori Gottlieb’s book Maybe you should talk to someone and it has been amazing for me.

I found out about this book when Lori Gottlieb was on Jay Shetty’s podcast On Purpose which you should definitely check out, I was really impressed by the things she talked about like human connection, dealing with grief and a lot of other stuff. The book has a little something for everyone so even if you feel like you don’t need therapy you can pick this book up just for the stories that are told. Lori talks about 4 of her patients, their stories and problems and how she helps them deal with their problems while also facing a major crisis of her own. Enter Wendell, the quirky but seasoned therapist in whose office she suddenly lands. With his balding head, cardigan, and khakis, he seems to have come straight from Therapist Central Casting. Yet he will turn out to be anything but. As Lori explores the inner chambers of her patients’ lives – a self-absorbed Hollywood producer, a young newlywed diagnosed with a terminal illness, a senior citizen threatening to end her life on her birthday if nothing gets better, and a twenty-something who can’t stop hooking up with the wrong guys – she finds that the questions they are struggling with are the very ones she is now bringing to Wendell. She tells us nuemorus things about a therapist’s inner workings and how they deal with cases and even simplifies their ‘techniques’ you could call it so that we can use them on ourselves to see what really is going on or rather wrong in our lives.

The most interesting thing she talks about is ‘presenting problem’ the issue that gets you into therapy in the first place, but which is really just the touchstone for what are probably many more deeply embedded issues. The basic meaning of this that usually when someone goes to therapy they aren’t actually looking for the answers to the question that they present at first but actually something larger that is bothering them but they fail to accept. The reason for neglect can be anything from childhood influences to trying to be appealing to everyone and maintaining a perfect image infront of the people. Therapy, she writes, “elicits odd reactions because, in a way, it’s like pornography. Both involve a kind of nudity. Both have the potential to thrill. And both have millions of users, most of whom keep their use private.” If you would read the book and it’s teachings you would realize that somewhere along the lines the cases or problems presented to her are some that you face yourself and needless to say that is creepy making you feel exposed from the mask that you put on.

Before she trained as a therapist Lori worked as a writer for TV shows like “ER.” She is also the author of the Dear Therapist column in The Atlantic magazine. Lori tells in the book that she is drawn to stories and if not for anything else you should definitely pick up the book for the stories told in it. In showing us how patients reveal just a part of their selves she gives us a satisfying collage of narratives. Lori is authentic, even raw, about herself and her patients.

Starting almost every chapter with her chart note on a patient, we get the background to the problem before she gradually builds up from there following her very interesting patients and their journeys through developing a therapeutic relationship, and the slow progress of healing. These are heartbreaking, sad, funny stories, with a message of hope: that we can all fix ourselves even if we sometimes need guidance. At various points, it feels very vulnerable, final chapters especially. And even though I have never been to a therapist, the stories are so relatable. Lori once in a while gives us a view into her job when she describes some of the stress she goes through with patients including how to act when you see them outside sessions, even goes on to share the challenges of clients who don’t want to change. She does a good job of accepting that though she recognizes some of the techniques Wendell uses on her as those she regularly uses on her patients, she has no antidote for them and cannot stop her emotions from being laid bare.

I dove into the book with the purpose of absorbing all the teachings that Lori has put into the book. I would usually read a chapter and then make notes on them then go over them again. After doing this for each chapter I would read the notes of one part of the book (the book is divided by Lori into 4 parts) as a whole. The book also talks about what we can do as bystanders when someone close to us going through a crisis or breakdown and how the methods that we usually use are defective and does not show the person dealing with grief the truth but only what would make them happy. Being people pleasers is a very big problem one that Lori talk about in the book. The very core of the book is that everyone can fix themselves so even if you’re not broken (accept it all of us are a little broken) you can pick this book and think of using the teachings to upgrade your brain, mind and emotions.

TOP 10 ANIME TO WATCH IN QUARANTINE

Hey guys what is up welcome back to my blog I’m so thankful that you guys took the time out of your day to read my blog post. Hope you all are safe from the COVID-19. I know quarantine can be boring so I decided to save you all from boredom with my top 10 anime list to watch in quarantine.

  • Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin)

Now the reason why attack on titan goes on top is because it’s 3 seasons long. It’s properly paced and it is amazing like seriously amazing you should definitely check it out I promise it will not disappoint. The story revolves around Eren Yeager and his friends in a world where Titans have taken over the earth and humanity resides behind 3 walls in fear of the giant humanoid creatures. The series is filled with a lot of twists and gives a proper backstory to all its characters. It’s beautifully drawn, has a ton of action and was voted number one action anime. So go check it out I promise it will not disappoint.

  • Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood

Another amazing Anime that just blows my mind away. The story is based on 2 disfigured brothers wanting to improve their alchemy training to fulfil their personal wants. The story can make you cry because it has sacrifice and a lot of emotional scenes. It also has a ton of action and 65 episodes to keep you engaged in this quarantine life. This is also a good start of newcomers to Anime and will leave you wanting more and more.

  • Dragon Ball

If you want to feel a bit of nostalgia go and watch the original Dragon Ball which was practically a hidden gem with a story about a monkey tailed boy in a quest to find wish granting Dragon Balls. Dragon Ball Z picks up after that and makes the characters much much   more powerful and the fights that much more exciting. If you want some modern animation then there’s Dragon Ball Super for you that picks up directly after Z and has about 6 seasons to keep you engaged. Doesn’t matter which series you pick there are a ton of episodes to watch and a lot of fun.

  • Naruto

Another classic long running series that also has a ton to offer from amazing animation to techniques used by the characters to amazing fights. Naruto has a lot more emotion whether it be the original or Shippuden. This one also has a lot of episodes so you can just sit back relax and prepare yourself for a journey into one of the most successful and most loved anime of all time. If you have already watched it you know that there is the itching feeling within you to go watch it again so go do it.

  • One Piece

This series has gone on for more than 900 episodes so if you want to catch up now is a really good time to start and the series is still going on but you really need the back story. A story about pirates who cannot swim it’s funny and has a sense of mystery to it. Our hero Luffy is an adventurous pirate in search for the great mystical treasure ‘One piece’. The series also has a lot of good battles.

  • Tokyo Ghoul

This series is dark like really dark. This series is about ghouls who can only eat flesh of humans. The protagonist Kaneki is a half ghoul which makes him question his morality when eating flesh of humans and where he really belongs in the world with ghouls or humans. The most amazing thing is the fights but if you want to understand the story really really well you need to read the manga because a lot of content has been packed into 4 seasons of 12 episodes each so a lot of stuff needed to be cut out.

  • The Seven Deadly Sins

You love adventure and fantasy? Then this anime is for you. It is about seven knights who represent the seven deadly sins. The group of knights originally plotted an overthrow of the Liones Kingdom but failed because of the Holy Knights and disbanded. But after 10 years, the Holy Knights manages to capture the king and proceed to become tyrannical rulers. As a result, Princess Elizabeth starts her journey to Seven Deadly Sins in an attempt to win back the lost kingdom and to find the long-lost justice in the world. I was sceptical at first but I decided to give this a shot and loved it.

  • Death Note

The animation is kind of old with this one but you absolutely have to watch this anime. The dark setting with the protagonist actually being more of a bad guy and the deep questions asked to whether his actions were justifiable or not. Also ranked number 1 anime. Though short with only 37 episodes. You can really reflect on the lessons of the series afterward that will keep you occupied for longer.

  • No game no life

The series is about two siblings called Sora and Shiro who are transported into another world which is run by games. The two protagonists need to adapt to this new world in order to survive these not so innocent or cool games. The show is really addicting especially for gamers due to the unique concept and plot involving a fantasy world where everything is done in accordance with specific rules which must be followed at all times. There is also a movie based on the 6th volume of the series called no game no life Zero.

  • Assassination Classroom

An extra-terrestrial creature with Mach20 speed threatens to destroy the earth but gives humanity a chance by asking to become the teacher of class 3-E of Kunugigaoka Middle School. The students of the class are all misfits and try their hand at assassinating the creature who they name Koro-sensei. While their assassination attempts continually fail their new teacher proves the best they have ever had. The series talks about life in general and how people are looked down upon. The series is 47 episodes long and has a nice pace with emotional times.

Anime isn’t corrupting children here’s why

Hey guys what is up welcome back to my blog I’m so thankful that you guys took the time out of your day to read my blog post. Hope you all are safe from the COVID-19. Alright I agree I may have been trigerred by a few people so I am writing this post but please bear with me like you guys always do.

So quarantine life means lots of time and that means I can binge watch anime without any problems so I started binging and catching up on series but one day my mother walk in sees me watching Attack on Titan and tells me that I shouldn’t watch it because it promotes violence like really, I mean are you serious. A series that stands as a symbol of hope, determination, loyalty, friendship, dreams and oppression is bad for me. That is the worst thing I’ve ever heard I mean if that’s the case then why aren’t action movies with explosions and dangerous stunts bad? I’m sure that I would definitely be more tempted to try out something from a new action thriller than I would from any anime (but in truth yes I did try to go super saiyan as a kid). My point being that anime in no way promotes violence instead it teaches values far deeper than any other thing I’ve seen.

Another point of mine that makes anime actually better than live action movies and tv series is that in anime the bad guy always loses. Think about the most recent movies you have seen mostly the bad guy is potrayed as cool and looks like he’s living the life and anime does this too no problems there the problem is that in most of the recent movies I’ve seen bad guys win and that is seriously not something I want someone to watch would I after all according to some people it might “corrupt their morals”. Atleast In anime the bad guy always loses in the end even if the story is about him for example take Death Note a widely popular anime about a teen who has a book that can kill people. This teen Light Yagami goes on to kill criminals of the world and go head to head in a mind battle against the world’s most famous detective. I won’t spoil the ending but yeah Light ends up losing in the end showing that his once great mind of a genius had now turned into an arrogant mind of a killer. The constant mind battles and the question of ethics that goes on the series definitely leaves an impact on the audience. The rise and fall of Light also shows how an uncontrolled mind and arrogance is the downfall of any person no matter how good their brain is. The ending shows the audience that morals and ethics need to be the driving factor of a person’s actions and not one’s own personal gains and vendetta’s. Yes Light did start out as a good person trying to kill criminals but he ended up becoming a killer going to head to head with a detective and then his sole purpose became not to cleanse the world but to be a God and beat those who are trying to catch him. Another thing this shows is that no man can become God. Because God is well God and no man can play God.

Now to the point will showing the violence affect the kids? My answer hell no I grew up watching Dragon Ball and to be honest I liked the fights but it didn’t mean I went around trying to smash people’s heads in instead there were qualities of kindness and selflessness that can be picked up from the show. The thing I’m trying to say is that something that has violence in it doesn’t make it inherently wrong we all have a mind of our own that can differentiate from right and wrong. So Anime isn’t corrupting children instead it helps children and people in general relax and pick up good qualities. If we can idolize the right people we will never stray from doing the right thing. So next time you see a person saying anime is bad just send them to this post maybe I’ll even have a chat with them and try to change their mind.

ELITE: IS IT ANYTHING MORE THAN A TEEN DRAMA ?

Hey guys what is up welcome back to my blog I’m so thankful that you guys took the time out of your day to read my blog post. Hope you all are safe from the COVID-19. I have been watching a lot of shows in quarantine but the one that has really caught my eye is Elite. A teen drama with a murder mystery why not I thought. It was really let’s say enlightening.

The first couple episodes are spent introducing different characters and the setting is made clear Las Encinas, the most exclusive private school in Spain has 3 new students who are there on a scholarship. The immediate result of these 3 working class students studying with the richest and most privileged students in Spain is a clash. Tensions are developed in the class with some of the rich students accepting the new ones while some form serious rivalries. So far this was like any other teen drama set in a school. Rivals, sex, relationships then the bomb called Episode 3 hit and I was blown away. This was no longer any regular teen drama this got mental health involved and the series got bold. Addressing issues like kids dealing drugs, taking drugs, dealing with parents, keeping secrets. There is a lot going on and you need to keep up.

The best thing that this show does is that no one remains a hero or villain for long and at the end of the day no one is innocent and everyone has something wrong that they have done and the paybacks, resentment and old debts all add up to the murder. Everyone has a motive to murder the victim and everyone is involved in a way but the murder itself is committed by only one person. The point where Elite really shines is showing that though from 2 completely different worlds the students face so similar problems. One side has nothing and wants something while the other side due to having everything wants something different or as in the words of the character Polo “add a little spice to their life”. Each of the 3 poor kids get involved with the rich kids and chaos ensures. There are breakups, hook-ups, retaliations, disrespect all the things you would have wanted and more.

The fights as you would call in this series are more emotional and psychological consisting of trickery and deceit rather than good old fashioned brawling. Each character goes through a different stress and fight of their own whether it be the faults of the past or the jealously of the present. Now for someone else the most important thing about the series maybe the murder mystery and whether or not justice is served in the end. I like to go deeper into everything and while watching Elite I figured out one thing that students need to be given more facilities for mental health care. Each character wouldn’t have done what they had if they had just been given some attention or some care.

This hit me hard like the school cares for its reputation not tolerating drugs but they never stopped to ask why were the drugs being taken, the parents could care less as some are involved in drugs themselves but the point to take here is that we never get to the root of the problem. If only someone had asked why the drugs were being taken instead of just putting charges on the dealer things would change. I’m trying to keep this spoiler free as I just want to talk about the basic concept of teenage mental health issues. Elite is not just any teenage show it actually shows how without any guidance the kids do what they feel right and end up in situations that well if you watch the show you’ll know. Murder and addiction are not how we want the students who according to the world are supposed to be “The leaders of the new world” to end up instead we want them to develop themselves and hone their skills so they can achieve greatness on the flip side there are kids who have greatness thrust upon them and they just don’t want it and the answer to cope with that stress you guessed it DRUGS. The problems faced by teens in general these days are not anything major at the beginning but due to not talking to people and not getting proper care and attention.

The thing that you can learn from Elite is how not to end up in your teens. One of the characters very stupidly said “We are 16. We have our entire lives to find ourselves again if we lose ourselves”. Now I have nothing against exploration in fact I think life is all about self-exploration but drinking and doing drugs is not I repeat NOT self-exploration and I desperately tell you Lost things are not found that’s because they are lost . If you need money please figure out some other way and don’t deal drugs. If you’re stressing go to therapy. The end verdict is that Elite really shows how much pain and pressure a teen can go through. So if you are a student or any teen just please talk to someone about your problems we need to stop texting and start talking if you need help please seek help it won’t drop out of the sky for you. If you are a parent or any adult talk to teens around you or anyone who you think may be going through something. We need to start trying to know people and stop dropping the masks we’re wearing.

MY REALIZATIONS FROM QUARANTINE LIFE

Hey guys what is up welcome back to my blog I’m so thankful that you guys took the time out of your day to read my blog post. Hope you all are safe from the COVID-19. So it’s been like maybe 2-3 months in quarantine I don’t even know now but thinking about it made me realize that there are many things quarantine has taught me.

I was a mess when quarantine first started no school meant no need for early mornings and I was destroying my sleep schedule sleeping at like 6 AM and waking up at 2-3 PM and them staying up the whole night. I did that for a week in which I couldn’t even write anything properly then I was like get your stuff together you’re wasting your time. I made up a strict schedule with a little flexibilities. This helped me a lot I never realized but a schedule actually helps out in making life more spontaneous. In short a schedule is damn important, fix your time and when you do that you’ll actually end up doing work faster and being more productive and saving time.

Next up is early mornings really do get the creative juices flowing. I started testing out different sleep schedules and found the perfect one for me is waking up at 4 AM. I know sounds really bad but I woke at 4 am to do some meditation then a bit of reading and then some writing. Believe me the fresh air of the morning has something in it that just gets you going. I’ve been able to type better and with my work being mostly done by 6-7 AM the rest of the day can be used to think of ideas. Point being try to wake up with or before the sun the energy is great and your creative juices get flowing.

Also since it was quarantine time my family decided to come back and it was maybe the first time in a couple of years that all 5 of us were together. My mom was excited to finally spend time with everyone but surprise surprise all of us were in the same room at the same time facing each other but on our phones. The scene looked pathetic I get it everyone was trying to reach out to other people or posting something or the other but dude we didn’t even say one word to each other until my mother put her foot down and confiscated our phones for the whole day. It was rough but we started talking and reminiscing and it was great finally felt like we had slowed down to just look back even if for a bit. First thing we take family for granted too often and second we are on our phones way too much.

Not that me being on my phone would be a problem because I broke my phone and it needs to be repaired which is not possible because COVID. I am bored out of my mind now today is May 3rd as I write this and lockdown was supposed to be lifted today in my country but it’s extended and now I’m stuck without a phone and it is bad because I can’t text or call anyone. I pretty much fixed it by using skype for the time being on my laptop but I want my phone back ASAP. When I look back I spent way too much time on my phone and that is why I never had time for other stuff and had to rush it. Now with no phone I do all my work with great productivity so life is not boring I’m just offline for a while.

This one may hit others a bit hard but hear me out for the first time in a long time I heard the chirping of birds outside my house the last time I heard that was when I was a little kid. The skies appear clearer, the air feels fresher, the nights are silent and for the time being it feels like Nature is taking control. Don’t get me wrong humanity is great we have come very far and I’m sure we will rise again but did you ever stop to think that the world appears better right now with everyone in their home and nature thriving in ways we never knew. I realized something Nature is pressing the reset button and we sure as hell will survive but this is just a fair reminder that we need to get ourselves in check and stop hurting nature because now we have another example about how nature hits back. I don’t want to end this on a dark note so one small thing more.

We all have enough time. The thing is that we need to slow down and make a schedule audit our time and stick to it. Everybody has 24 hours in a day and some people run multi-billion dollar companies in those 24 hours and a high schooler can’t even finish an assignment in those 24 hours. Think about it do we not have enough time or are we just not smart enough to audit our time properly. I for sure know that each and everyone knows the answer we just fail to accept it.

MAIN DIFFERENCES IN FF7 REMAKE FROM THE ORIGINAL

Hey guys what is up welcome back to my blog I’m so thankful that you guys took the time out of your day to read my blog post. Hope you all are safe from the COVID-19. So ff7 remake hit on April 10, 2020 and I have finally had the chance to experience it and there are major changes that almost make the game feel like an entirely new experience. So what exactly are these new changes you get to see now:

  • EPISODIC STRUCTURE

Now this one really really pissed me off because as much as I loved the game and it’s long like really long but only covers 10-15% of the original story. Though unclear how many pats the game will be broken into I would love to see more of the story in the next part. But the bright side is you don’t even feel like this is a remake every new quest drags the story longer but every side quest actually matters and never actually felt like it was dragging the story until I thought about it. So Square Enix is doing a pretty good job at making the game feel complete in the experience.

  • REAL TIME COMBAT

Yes you read that right. This is was the most exciting part of the whole game and the biggest change. This original game had the player issue commands to the party but now players attack in real time and switch between the characters of the party on the fly. The combat itself feels fluid though some people say it’s too in-depth I loved it. There are also new boss to fights and there is a whole part where the player decides which parts to remove from a very particular bot to gain an advantage in the fight.

  • AVALANCE MEMBERS HAVE MORE SCREEN TIME

Outside of main characters Aerith, Tifa, and Barret, the Remake also gives the player  more time to get to know Avalanche members Jessie, Wedge, and Biggs. All three get a lot more screen time in the Remake since the first portion of the game is so spread out. SPOILERS AHEAD OF A QUEST. Jessie enlists the player to help her gain her father’s work pass in order to access a Shinra warehouse. During this chapter, Cloud heads to the residential district along with Biggs and Wedge who keep Jessie’s mother distracted while the player breaks into her house as Cloud to take the pass. The player learns so much about the three characters and their backstories. They feel much more involved in the story than the first time around and after getting to know them it feels like they actually matter.

  • NEW SIDE QUESTS

Since the Remake enables the player to see more of Midgar we also have the opportunity to do some “odd jobs” and increase reputation as a mercenary in some of the sectors. This also gives the chance to meet some of the city’s residents in different areas. These side quests can be taken in three separate chapters and they may even lead to additional story beats in the main story as well as give additional weapons for different characters. There are a variety of different quests to complete.

  • CORNEO’S COLOSSEUM POSES A NEW CHALLENGE

Wall Market sets the scene for one of the most famous moments in Final Fantasy 7 Remake once again but this time it also introduces some new characters such as Madam M who works at the hand massage parlour as well as a new location. The market is now home to Corneo’s Colosseum, where the player will participate in various battles with Cloud and Aerith in order to progress through the story. The Colosseum is packed with challenging battles, and also has a delightful little nod to the original sword-swinging victory fanfare Cloud and co used to do in the original after every fight.  And yes after Cloud dances in the new minigame it’s a fast paced rhythm-type game involving hitting the correct buttons at the right time.

  • CHADLEY HELPS US GET MATERIA

Summoning materia once again returns to the world of Final Fantasy 7 but this time the way in which we get a hold of some of them is entirely different. A new character called Chadley is a young researcher who tasks us with gathering battle intel to help him develop new materia that can then be purchased and used on our weapons. Chadley can be found in all of the different areas, and as the story progresses and we gather more intel Chadely will tell us that we can fight some Summons in a virtual combat simulation to add the Summon to the arsenal. An exciting part indeed in the game.

  • SEPHIROTH SHOWS UP EARLY

In the original game, Sephiroth doesn’t actually make a proper appearance in Midgar at all. The silver-haired antagonist is talked about in the first portion of the game and we can see the aftermath of Sephiroth’s actions but don’t actually physically see him in person. In the Remake though Sephiroth features quite prominently throughout the story and has a much bigger role right from the get-go. It’s evident that his presence greatly troubles Cloud which serves as a way of establishing that Sephiroth is an ever-growing threat that is linked to Cloud. The first scene with Sephiroth quickly establishes that Cloud and Sephiroth have a history and it also offers some insight into Cloud’s past and an incident that’s still affecting him. Sephiroth continues to pop up throughout the story every so often. While Sephiroth is more of an elusive figure in the original, there is still some mystery surrounding all of the past events and the ties that bind Cloud and Sephiroth in the context of the Remake, which will no doubt be explored in future parts.

  • THE WHISPERS ARE A NEW PRESENCE THAT WILL SHAPE THE FUTURE OF THE STORY

SPOILER ALERT SPOILER ALRET. The first major story difference in Final Fantasy 7 Remake is introduced as early as Chapter 2 when Cloud first meets Aerith. She appears to be troubled by some invisible force and when she pulls on Cloud’s arm we suddenly see what’s causing it some mysterious apparitions encircle her. These strange ghost-like figures are what are referred to as Whispers. These whispers are tied to the entire story of the Remake and play a key role in the events that unfold particularly with regard to the ending. They show up throughout the storyline at pivotal moments. Given the episodic nature of the Remake the reinterpretation of the classic game does feel like a self-contained experience and as such the ending introduced is also new. Which is so exciting.

All in all the only thing that troubles me is that the game is not released as a whole and I might need to spend more money on this game and what’s even worse is that I know I will because I want more of this game. This game is a perfect blend of nostalgia and a breath of fresh air. If you can’t wait go pick this game up. If you can then you might want to wait so you can pick up all the parts in like a bundle edition of something. In the end this game is the best game ever and has become the fastest selling PS4 game so do the math and figure out if you want it because I 100% recommend it. So that is it for this post guys hope you got some value from this.  Thank you guys for reading to the end hit me up on Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn with your thoughts and if you have any ideas

Review of Predictably Irrational

Hey guys what is up welcome back to my blog I’m so thankful that you guys took the time out of your day to read my blog post. Hope you all are safe from the COVID-19. Boredom in the corona Virus has caused me to start reading a lot more so the last week I finished up reading Predictably Irrational By Dan Ariely and I was fascinated and I felt the need to share this with all of you.

The book consists of Experiments conducted by Professor Dan at MIT to find out about the brain and is it is rational or irrational and if so is it predictable and he does a good job at simplifying the economics that otherwise seems so heavy and daunting at times. The introduction is an account of his own life where suffered from burns and he had to be in recovery where bandages had to be pulled off him by nurses and then redressed. The way he describes his condition at that time and moany others make the book feel more open and welcome as opposed to just another textbook. He describes the pain felt in the ripping of bandages and how he thought about if he thought that it would be better if they were ripped slowly and not at once. After recovering Dan urged on by a professor sets out to experiment and collect information as to which method of removing bandages is more effective and less painful and imagine his horror when he finds out that it is less painful overall to remove the bandages slowly and hence he was caused pain all during his treatment. He submitted his report to a medical board and did not cause any major changes but then he met a nurse who treated him at his time at the hospital and discussed his finding with her and her answer shocks him to find that ripping out bandages fast was for the nurses themselves so they don’t have to feel the pain of their patient suffering. This incident ignites a fire inside our professor to find out the workings of the brain and how much do we actually know about the brain.

Teaming up with many of his fellow colleagues and conducting experiments with his students as the participants at MIT Dan finds out that what separates behavioural economics from basic economics is the study of the brain and how we are not as rational as everyone thinks we are but we are irrational and more to that we are predictably irrational which is used by Companies to exploit us in buying subscriptions and much more. The research collected is not limited to just business it is related to dating, medicine and even stealing. The questions asked in the book make sense and will make you wonder why you never asked them before like why does expensive medicine work better and why people steal a pen but not money. After picking up the book I was certain before reading it that I was not as irrational as everyone else but in the end we see that even our beloved professor is predictably irrational is like everyone else what to speak of me.

The thing about this book is that you do not need to read it in an orderly fashion but you can just choose which chapter appeals most to you and read it. This approach is best for inconsistent readers who tend to read a lot of books at a time and forget the story. My favourite chapter was the one on cheating and how a simple oath or sentiment can make people act differently. This was an experiment to see whether people would cheat when given the opportunity and if so by how much (And the students of MIT are considered the best and brightest)   and whether them reciting a simple oath or signing it or reciting the 10 commandments would make a difference. The results you’ll have to find out by reading the book.

In the end the conclusion is the book is a must read whether you want dating tips or tips on how to stop using your credit card and start saving this book has something for everyone and even if you find just one chapter that you like it will be worth it. Get it on audiobook or Kindle because Corona time and please read it I promise it will change your outlook on how to handle the brain.

Corona Virus affecting game releases and more..

Hey guys what is up welcome back to my blog I’m so thankful that you guys took the time out of your day to read my blog post. Hope you all are safe from the COVID-19. This Corona Virus has done a lot of damage and since I was bored and had nothing to come up with I just decided to list the latest news in the gaming world. So let’s get into it.

The Last of US 2 and Iron man VR Refunds

If you pre-ordered any of these 2 games you must have received a refund notification by now that is because the games have been “Delayed Indefinitely” and the developers are figuring out a way to get the game “safely into the customers hands”. This might be heart breaking for a of of people The Last of US 2 was the biggest PS4 game of this year and was greatly anticipated and the Iron Man VR was another excellent game. Well the bright side is the this time can be used to fix bugs inside the game which means NO DAY 1 UPDATES and I hate DAY 1 updates so as much as I am devastated for the delay I am excited for having less updates.

PS5 releases its dualsense controller

Not exactly an effect of the corona virus but it’s pretty big news. So most people don’t know about this but Sony just updates their site with official information on their new Dual Sense controller. It focuses specifically for focus on your sense most specifically sense of touch. The DualSense Controller builds in refined haptic feedback to capture a broader range of motions, such as “slow grittiness of driving a car through mud”. It also includes adaptive trigger buttons that can ‘dynamically’ change their tension for different activities, such as drawing back a bowstring. You can also use a built-in microphone to talk to friends without needing a headset. The design is also different as in the new colour design and the overall round shape of the controller and the angle of the shoulder button is also changed. The share button is now the ‘create’ button. Also it is according to Jim Ryan “continuing our mission at PlayStation to push the boundaries of play, now and in the future”

QuakeCon 2020 Canceled Due To Coronavirus

QuakeCon, which has been running since the ’90s, was scheduled to take place from August 6-9 at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Centre in Texas this year. QuakeCon, the long-running annual convention held by video game investor ZeniMax Media to promote its subsidiaries’ projects, has been cancelled due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, Bethesda Softworks and id Software announced in a statement on Twitter. Despite its cancellation, the event’s organizers are brainstorming “other ways to celebrate the spirit of QuakeCon this August.” QuakeCon is slated to return as a full event next year. So maybe it will be a live stream on YouTube or something else. A ton of announcements tends to come out of QuakeCon every year, especially those related to Doom, The Elder Scrolls Online, and Quake. QuakeCon isn’t the only event to have been canceled due to the coronavirus. A swath of other gatherings–such as Combo Breaker, E3, Gamescom, and many more–have also been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Call of Duty League events cancelled

Following the cancellation of Overwatch League events, Activision Blizzard opted to do the same for Call of Duty League events, moving all matches to an online-only format for the remainder of 2020. The games will most probably be streaming on Twitch so no great loss but the sheer thrill of those games are not lost. Also answer down below which team you are supporting for me it is the Minnesota Rokkrs.
