Hey guys what is up welcome back to my blog I’m so thankful that you guys took the time out of your day to read my blog post. Read this at your own risk, it’s got good action but it’s sad, depends on how you look at it but it’s sad. SPOILERS. I want to talk a lot about this so SPOILERS.

The story is amazingly written. It follows Denji, a poor boy, like poor poor, sell your body parts poor. He makes friends with a Chainsaw Devil and takes up the job of devil hunting to get out of his debt, he works hard and makes cash but that’s not paying his bills enough, so you can understand just how much damn debt this boy (yeah he’s 16) is in. He’s attacked by a zombie devil and fights it off but even he can’t survive against a horde so he dies (AOT vibes anyone ? Maybe this is going to become a new formula). His devil Pochita becomes his heart, according to a previous promise that they had made and thus Chainsaw Man is born. Denji is taken in by Public Security Devil Hunter Makima who puts him in a squad of eccentrics to hint devils. Denji just wants simple things in life, good food three times a day, a roof over his head and to touch some boobs but behind the scenes some sinister plot runs that involves the devils, the hunters and the most pivotal part of the plot, the Chainsaw Man himself.
The characters are something you shouldn’t get attached to, (notice how I used things there.) That’s because they’re going to die pretty quick, yeah this anime has a lot of gore but anyways, the characters are well written like Denji, the poor boy who just wants to live the simple life with three square meals a day, yet he’s also the main part in a conspiracy that’s too big for any person to wrap their head around (yeah this is the type of story where you’re going to watch the ‘plot explained’ videos on YouTube after finishing it.) Anyways, his simplistic ways make for great comedy and also show us that he’s just that big of an idiot that he doesn’t understand the power dynamics of the world and the consequences of what he’s doing. I don’t want to spoil other characters here because they’re so pivotal to the story because the less you know going in, the more enjoyment you get. Even the short lived characters are amazingly written with their motivations made clear and their deaths feeling impactful by showing how it affects the others.
The strong point of this manga is the story, yeah it’s got an amazing storyline filled wkth twists and turns but more than that, this manga is pretty damn well paced, I mean I wouldn’t know because I read it in like 3 days but the constant comedy that comes with Denji’s stupidness, horniness or anything else is just lovable and the moments that these characters spend together show so much of their bond and impact of their deaths. The plot isn’t all killing devils, it’s an amazingly written plot on a very, very large scale and the most important thing is, it’s only the first part. 97 chapters, and it’s just one part. This story filled with twists and turns will make you want for more.
The lesson that you can pull from this manga is very deep, the first is the simple one that is appreciate the simple things in life. Denji is poor and he’s happy with just three square meals a day, the basic necessities of life is what he likes and that’s what we need to appreciate. The second more deeper lesson is about the miseries of life, someone in the plot tries to destroy the basic four miseries of life but it doesn’t work proving that in this world you can’t destory the miseries.
The manga has just finished with only 97 chapters so it’s worth a read before the anime comes out and this is only the beginning. Just arc one and the ending h. In a story filled with excitement and twists and turns and damn good action and gore which is going to make you want more of the story. I recommend this to everyone who can stomach a good bit of gore and a good bit of depression. I wasn’t that much effected by either so I really really loved the story.

Rap section:
Secluded countryside a boy who’s damn poor,
Struggling to make cash but he doesn’t dream of grandeur,
Don’t got big dreams don’t want to wear velour,
Because all he’s looking for is a Mi Amor.
One accident and now he’s got blades in his body,
Cutting up people he’s doing a job shoddy,
He’s got chainsaws spinning like a Maserati,
He just wants a simple life notning godly.
Making friends and now he’s taking down devils,
For the people he’s like a gift from the heavens,
No matter how strong every matter he settles,
Putting his life on the line and he still doesn’t get medals.
Always rushing in he never makes a plan,
But he doesn’t know that behind the scenes began,
A plan that’s greater than him and even Japan,
This is the story of the Chainsaw Man.
