10 Games to Endure the Quarantine

Hey guys what is up welcome back to my blog I’m so thankful that you guys took the time out of your day to read my blog post. Hope you all are safe from the COVID-19. I know I’ve been doing a lot of book reviews lately and yes there are more to come but for the time being let’s talk gaming more appropriately gaming that will help you get through the quarantine.

  • The Witcher 3

Exciting swordplay and magic, monsters to slay and most importantly a long and interesting story to enjoy. You can say that The Witcher 3 is the perfect game to play for this quarantine so you can get lost in the vast open world full of side quests to do and the main story itself is not short. If you haven’t yet played it this is a gem to be experienced and if you already have relieve this epic adventure one more time.

  • Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice

Stealthy ninja moves, cutting edge weapons and amazing graphics Sekiro is a game that has it all from tricky and hard to figure out enemies to kill to different endings that will leave you scratching your head. There’s a high chance that most of the time playing this game you’ll have a walkthrough or a wiki to help you get through but it still is a good game.

  • Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

Do I need to give you a reason to play this game it’s a classic though more about tactics and it has an amazing story and also Captain Price is back what more could you want. Also if not for anything play it for the extremely well done gameplay and graphics and appreciate Call of Duty at its best.

  • Resident Evil 2

Survival horror, single-player, conspiracy and a killer remake of the 1998 version, Resident Evil 2 is a really great game. It’s much like the original but also so much better I never got to play the original one so now I can play this better version. Also it has Tyrant so those of you that know who he is you will want to pick this game up.

  • Devil May Cry 5

Dive into the shoes of your favourite silver haired devil hunters Dante and Nero and a new guy V who you all must know what his real identity is. This game is one for the books take up the Sparda Sword and Red Queen once more and get to killing demons and devils because this is a story that you want to experience even if you have never played DMC before.

  • Mortal Kombat 11

This is best for the people who are familiar with the story from the previous games also it has moves and blows that will wither make you sick and throw up or scream ‘awesome’. It’s a fighting game and one worth playing nothing much else to say.

  • Horizon Zero Dawn

Killer robots check, badass weapons check, great and gripping story triple check. I’m actually recommending this one because I’m playing it myself and it’s still good maybe it’ll not be as good if you’ve alreay experienced it once but playing it once again just to appreciate the graphic from a high point is worth it.

  • Fallout 4

Come on you thought I was gonna forget Fallout it’s a Bethesda guys and it’s a future gone seriously seriously wrong. A great sotry to experience and lots of side quests as well as exploring the map I’d say this game will take about 55 hours of your time. Also you’ll spend a lot of time figuring out the mechanics and uncovering what is going on. Also it might teach you a thing or two about surviving if nuclear war ever breaks out.

  • Red Dead Redemption 2

A normal world with a not so normal protagonist this is a game that will help you take your mind off things like the virus and just be a convict and shoot people with those revolvers and ride your horse. Go hunting or robbing the world is yours to explore and even after you finish the main story you can just live life like a simple criminal robbing and gazing at the scenery. It’s a hell of a ride.

  • The Last of Us

This is one is my personal favourite it tells the tragic tale of Joel who is one of the survivors of the virus that has spread all over the earth destroying human civilization and is mixed up with Ellie who is immune to the virus. This adventure is emotional and scary sometimes. You can also learn resourcefulness from this game also fair warning please keep a tissue box handy because you might cry.

Honourable mentions

These games did not make it to the list but they can still give you a few hours of fun and I recommend them all.

  • Saints Row 3 and 4 – Hours of fun just destroying stuff.
  • Sleeping Dogs – Hong Kong, martial arts and Triads all the reasons to play this.
  • Days Gone (Must try) – Did not make the cut because I was trying to focus more on games a few years old and this one was recently released.
  • Plague Inc. – A mobile game so you can create your own virus and infect the world.

You have the list now how to get the games is your responsibility I wish you luck. So that is it for this post guys hope you got some value from this and will not be bored in the quarantine now. Thank you guys for reading to the end hit me up on Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn with your thoughts and if you have any ideas which I should write about. Stay safe from the COVID-19. Thank you again and I’ll see you all next week.
