Hey guys what is up welcome back to my blog I’m so thankful that you guys took the time out of your day to read my blog post. Hope you all are safe and healthy. I really could NOT restrain myself from reading the manga after the last episode of the anime dropped so here I am. This one is near spoiler-free after the ending of the anime.

Firstly, let’s go into something that all non-anime watchers and anime watchers can relate to, the art of the manga which is really good. It isn’t highly amazing for something that comes out monthly but the art is still pretty to look at and I guarantee will not be a turn off at all even for the people who have quite high stnadards for when they read manga. The art is good but is at it’s best when it is used to express the characters’ emotions, feelings and thoughts like many psycholoigical manga do.
Next is something that was a major problem of mine with the anime and that is fixed in the manga and that is the pacing. The pacing of the anime always felt off because the episodes always tried to end on a high to keep the suspense going and the manga does that much more naturally without feeling like the flow of the story has been disrupted. The final arc (the current arc which I guess is the final one) might seem like it has pacing issues but I believe that that is because the arc is not yet complete and an incomplete arc always feels worse than a complete one.
The anime adaptation of Tomodachi Game was extremely faithful and was done well however there were some small little details that had to be cut out due to the limit of the episode only being 23 minutes which has to have, the OP, ED, and the actual episode as well. These small details are mostly insignificant and do not matter yet they make the world of Tomodachi Game feel better and the story overall just feels better written.
Of course, the story of Tomodachi Game goes much deeper in the manga and becomes a really exciting and engaging story that is near impossible to put down but with the dept in the story, which includes secrets being revealed and new mysteries being involved, the story overall gets much darker and I am not talking about slightly darker, the story gets much darker and may even be triggering for some people, however for some people who like mature themes and how they are dealt with, Tomodachi Game might be for you.
Finally, the intense battles that happen. I have to say that I enjoyed seeing Katagiri Yuichi fight in the anime however the real challenge only begins in the manga where there are smarter, viler and deadlier people who all challenge Yuichi and each other and the battles between them, seeing how they use their wits and how Yuichi outguns and outmaneuvers them is really interesting and a treat to read.
The manga has 101 chapters at the time of writing and is heading into its final so now might be as good a time as any to start the manga. The story of the manga is definitely deeper and better and despite the slight pacing issues (which like I stated before, I feel is mainly due to the story not being complete and the final arc still running) it is still enjoyable, hence until the ending is revealed, the Tomodachi Game manga is rated at a solid 9/10.
So that is it for this post guys hope you got some value from this. Thank you guys for reading to the end hit me up on Instagram and Twitter with your thoughts and if you have any ideas on what I should write about. Stay safe. Thank you again and I’ll see you all next week.
