Hey guys what is up welcome or welcome back to my blog thank you for taking the time out of your day to read this. So I decided to use online chatrooms to connect with new people and promote my content.
I began using E-chat a site where you can join different chatrooms, talk to the people there and even personal message them. The top 2 sites were filled with bots texting about sites for ‘FUN’ which were obviously fakes to steal people’s credit card details. There were many rooms, people to connect with. I used it for 3 days and I have made some good friends and a lot I mean a lot of horny and creepy people.
The main disadvantage I felt was that till a room admin was on a person could not be banned. This gave trolls the opportunity to pick on people, harass them and be the cyber bully. To all those who think that cyber bullying is not a thing ‘no offense but you are so wrong’. Though this was bad the rooms with active admins flourished where people who genuinely wanted to connect could come together as a community.
The option to choose who you receive personal messages from was great if you are being harassed by someone in your PM’s you can put them in your ignore list and they cannot bother you again unless you are in the same room. Also the option to choose that only people who you have friended can personal message you is a life saver for people getting hit on constantly.
I do not want to say this but there was one big problem of addiction. I was literally addicted to it always checking it for messages I even forgot about my daily post. This was the first time I had ever done that. I was so excited about branching out into a new community that I completely forgot about my already existing community.
The site was exciting and the bonds I’ve formed there are few but strong. If the trolls are kept in control and people are careful of scams the room is a real boon for those who want anonymity and a conversation. The bad part is that by the use of guest accounts people are phishing and cyberbullying that needs to be dealt with. Overall my experience was nice and the effort I put in certainly bore fruit.
MY advice be wary of scams, deal with trolls and connect with the great community of chatrooms. Sorry for making this one short I’m sick but i had to write for you gugs. I promise I’ll make the next post longer.
