Hey guys welcome or welcome back today I am writing about the struggles of being a writer so be sure to check it out, subscribe for more content and dm me on Instagram on what I should write next or any other suggestions.
- Inspiration – It seems to hit at literally the most weird times like at night when I hit my bed to catch some sleep but I get the most thoughtful idea ever and open my laptop to type it out only to discover that I gave up my whole night’s sleep to write a post just like I am doing right now.
- Forgetting ideas – I personally hate when this happens to me like when I’m in the shower and I get a brilliant idea I think that I will not forget it but by the time I get out , dry off and open my laptop ready to write my mind is blank.
- Not having time to write – I personally made a promise that I would write 10 mins everyday so that I don’t get rusty but I cannot seem to keep that appointment as there is always something that gets in the way.
- Relatable memes – I find so many relatable memes and articles that I find funny which when I send to my friends they’re like what does that even mean , is that possible. Like this article might be relatable to some of you but some of you might not have a clue of what the fuck I am talking about
- Going out vs Staying in – The eternal struggle should I go out with my friends so that I can get out of the house and have some fun or stay in and write that one more page or that one idea. Alas, I don’t have the answer for this one but I try to keep a balance.
- No serious friends – No one seems to believe that I can write or that this blog will hit off and I will ever have an audience but the few people that do read you are my motivation to keep writing.
- Searching the weirdest stuff – So I am currently working on my first story and I needed to kill off a character and I was literally googling ways to kill people so that I can know my ideas work. I’m pretty sure my sanity would be questioned should my google searches ever be released.
- Every idea seems to have been taken – So I got really cool ideas but guess what when I google them I see tons of post already on it but it’s also a good thing as it makes me push extra hard to deliver new content.
- Scrapping the first draft – This was the thing I experienced upon writing my story the first draft and finished product are 2 completely different things and it sometimes pains me to know that the first draft could have been an entirely different story had I not deleted it.
- People giving ideas – I mean don’t get me wrong I like that people give me ideas just not the fact that they think that it will be so successful and keep pestering me to write about it. They’re like ‘this is what people like to read’ or ‘I guarantee this will get you recognition’.
- People asking what book you have written – I hate this this is literally the worst when I’m at a family function and I tell people that I’m a writer they’re ‘like well what book have you written’ ‘I haven’t OK I write on this little thing call blog ever heard of it no thought so’
There you have it the struggles of being a writer that is it for today hope you guys enjoyed I am so thankful for each and every one of you for taking time out of your day to read my blog. Stay tuned for more.
